Your Questions Should Be Written with the Results Page in Mind
Participants in your assessment are answering the questions in order to see personalized results. We have found the most success when writing the assessment questions with the results page in mind. In short, any questions asked in the assessment should support the content that is displayed on the results page.
A progress bar shows the user how far they have come in the assessment and what is left in order to complete it. Progress can be displayed as a bar that uses colors to show where the user is or as a number that shows what question number the user is currently on.
The Choices Are Just as Important as the Questions
The choices presented should help paint a clear picture of what value exists on the results page. It isn't always necessary to include 4 choices since some questions can be answered with only 2. Find the right number of choices for your audience and what will be presented on the results page through testing.
